Report on State Subsidization of Electric Generating Facilities now available.
Continental Economics has just released a report, titled “State Subsidization of Electric Generating Facilities.” The report was prepared for the COMPETE Coalition, a group of almost 700 entities who promote competitive electric markets. The report discusses the findings of academic research at Penn State University and shows why state subsidized generation leads to higher long-term prices and will ultimately destroy organized electric capacity markets
