Jonathan Lesser’s op-ed on the federal wind production tax credit, which Congress is currently condinsidering whether to texntend for an additional year at an estimated cost of over $12 billion, was published in the November 22, 2012Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch.  Dr. Lesser explains that the PTC subsidy is causing significant damage to wholesale electric markets.  Most tellingly, wind power is not produced when it is most needed, further distorting electric markets and raising costs for all electric consumers.  To read this op-ed, click here.
